2nd PC Install, Results, Conclusions
Note: Some sites have accidentally linked straight to this page (Page 4). If you just got here, you probably want to start at Page 1!
So off it was to continue with my box. With the radiator mounted, the next thing to do was put all the parts back into the system and connect up the hoses. It was all pretty easy after practising on Digital_Guardian's box. Then it was off to filling the system and checking for leaks. (Excuse the Christmas tea towel. The one on the top of the pile :-P)

The block was mounted, first incorrectly. Then after realising, it was fixed.

I had a spare 120mm 240V fan lying around that pushes ALOT of air. I mounted that onto my radiator and soldered on a spare power cord I had.

The finished product. First inside the case, then outside. Neatened it up a little by using the hose clamps I bought from Bunning’s.

Results:
Time to put it to the test. Here is a little before/after comparison of each machine.
Before
Skymaster:
CPU Temperature: 60ºC Idle, 68ºC under Load
System Temperature: 35ºC Idle, 40ºC under Load
CPU Speed: 1333MHz - 10x 133MHZ Bus
RAM Speed: 333MHz
GF4 Speed: 250MHz Core, 500MHz Ram
Digital_Guardian:
CPU Temperature: 42ºC Idle, 60ºC under Load
System Temperature: 33ºC Idle, 36ºC under Load
CPU Speed: 2530MHz - 19x 133MHZ Bus
RAM Speed: 333MHz
GF3 Speed: 250MHz Core, 500MHz Ram
After
Skymaster:
CPU Temperature: 48ºC Idle, 52ºC under Load
System Temperature: 38ºC Idle, 43ºC under Load
CPU Speed: 1449MHz - 10.5x 138MHZ Bus
RAM Speed: 345MHz
GF4 Speed: 265MHz Core, 530MHz Ram
Digital_Guardian:
CPU Temperature: 43ºC Idle, 50ºC under Load
System Temperature: 32ºC Idle, 35ºC under Load
CPU Speed: 2850MHz - 19x 150MHZ Bus
RAM Speed: 375MHz
GF3 Speed: 250MHz Core, 500MHz Ram
As you can see from these results, even after overclocking, the CPU temperature is cooler. My case temperature increased as the hard disk heat wasn't being removed by the Sunon fans anymore, but I am very happy with the outcome.
Our final thoughts on this kit are very positive and we'd recommend it to anyone who is looking at a good watercooling kit for a reasonably low price. Our PCDB entries are able to be viewed here: Skymaster and Digital_Guardian. Happy Overclocking!
